Question by Trimphone: Is there a way of connecting a standard internal floppy drive to a usb port or cable?
I want to use an external floppy drive on my new laptop, but can get internal drives for free from a place where old computers are being thrown out. I’ve seen IDE to USB adapters on ebay but none of them say they work with floppies. does anyone know a way fo doing this?
To save myself buying an external drive i just want to use an internal one as external.

the adapter that you need is cost to cost the same or more than just buying an external floppy drive
